Today is the anniversary of my father's loss in Vietnam. He was swept to sea off the USS Coral Sea. Decorated with the Silver Star, Bronze Star w/Oakleaf Cluster, number Distinguished Flying Crosses, Fought in Korea and Vietnam. Commanding Officer of VA-155 when he was lost.
What did you love most about your parent?
His devotion to family and friends. He was compassionate about life.
