Sylvester S. Sagan known to his family as "Butch" was born on June 20, 1946 to Frank and Lillian Sagan on a 120 acre farm in Whitehall, MI. He was my youngest sibling - 6 years younger. He grew up to be a gentle, loving young man. He had a very kind heart and I knew he loved visiting me in Detroit on weekends and playing with my children when he lived in Flint. I don't think I ever thanked him for signing up to protect our freedom. You did pay the ultimate price. I love you Butch and I still miss you very much.
