Oscar and I were neighborhood buddies, worked at Brooks Brothers together in 1967. We entered the US Army on a 'Buddy Plan' on Feb. 16, 1968. Served in basic training at Fort Jackson, SC. Bravo Company 1st Platoon together. We were separated after basic training but saw each other in October 1968 while on leave before we were shipped to VietNam. That was the last time I saw Oscar. I didn't find out what had happened until I got back home the following year. He's been in my heart ever since. I haven't been the same since.
Oscar you have been in my heart all through these years and will always be there going forward.
