Our hero Jimmy is a great young man. He worked very hard at any job he had. In the Air Force he was an Airfield Manager. He made sure the runway and flight line was safe for the aircraft. Jimmy played drums and golfed. He also ran the Air Force Half Marathon. Jimmy received his Senior Airman strip six months early, in a process called below the zone. He was described as a rising star. Jimmy's friends started a scholarship in his honor to keep his legacy alive in his hometown, Athens, MI. We do an annual motorcycle ride to raise money for his scholarship. He is deeply missed. We love him!!
