John was a High School friend of mine at ST. Louis Park. We graduated together and both took different military paths. I went in US Navy Submarines, John went Infantry. Both of us went to Vietnam. I was luckier than John was. I have visited his grave at Ft Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis. This year, I decided to make my 2008 Harley a POW/MIA/KIA tribute to John. The picture is the bike at the Minnesota Vietnam Memorial in St. Paul on the Capitol grounds. John's name is engraved in the wall above the seat.
