My dearest cousin Gregg. I can finally give you the honor due to you. You were like my older brother. I looked up to you, and respected you. I was so proud of you when you joined the Army. I was worried too because of the war in Viet Nam. You left school to serve your country for a couple of years and come back home, finish school, get married and have kids. Instead, you were KIA less than a year later. I was(we were all) devastated. To this day I think of you and wonder what it would of been like if you did come back home ok. I work as a PX Barber/Manager in my shop at Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, in So. California. I give haircuts to hundreds of young Marines and Navy Corpsman that look just like you and I pray to the Lord that they will be safe when their time comes to deploy. My step-son is a Marine and my concern for him is great when he goes on deployment. Any way my Brother Gregg, we love you. I've told my wife of 27 years dozens of stories and memories of us and you.
