Sgt Gene Lamie was a good ole southern boy. He loved to fish hunt and watch the GA bulldogs play football. He served his country with pride. He left behind a wife and two children Lyrean and Gene Benjamin. He was a great friend. There is a huge hole left in the world with him gone. I often wonder what would he have become. He had so much life left to live. He had dreams and goals. He was a fun guy many of his brothers have sent messages to me saying how funny he was and what a great NCO he was. I miss my bubba every minute of every day,
