    Pvt. F.B. Lucio, born Nov. 28, 1917, in Mexico, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ysaac B. Lucio, 1509 Hotchkiss, Houston, received his education at Harris Grammar and Milby High School, Houston. Entered the service Dec. 29, 1942, at Houston; was assigned to Army Hdqtrs. 43rd Inf. Div. Trained at Camp Wolters Inf. Rep. Training Center. Served in the United States 5 months, and overseas 2 months, in Southwest Pacific, Munda Campaign. He paid the Supreme Sacrifice, having been killed in action at Munda, in the Southwest Pacific, on the 2nd of July, 1943. The award of the Purple Heart was posthumously presented."
