Uncle Buddy died tragically while serving his country. He and his crew were conducting a search for a plane that did not return from their mission. The weather was extreme however, Uncle Buddy's plane initiated a search but lost radio contact four minutes out and was never found. His two brothers were also serving during this time and returned safely home after the war. His parents, brothers and sister's-in-law mourned his death as only a family can do. Buddy's mother, my grandmother, asked me to never let the memory of her son die. This request has been honored and passed down through Uncle Buddy's many nieces and nephews. This posting will also serve in that regard.
