In memory of Chester Krukowski 1921-1943 Chester, son of Polish immigrants Stefania (Stephanie) and Jan (John), brother of Eugene (WWII Navy), Stanley (WWII Armed Forces fallen hero), Edwin (US Army), Pete (US Army), Frank (US Army), Steve, Mary, Lilian, and Genevieve. Chester did his basic training on the Great Lakes, after he was sent to Buckroe Beach Virginia to board the USS Indiana. Chester lost his life while the USS Indiana was around the Solomon Islands 7/18/1943. Chester is laid to rest at the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific in Honolulu Hawaii.
