TRIBUTES

Honor your hero with thoughts, memories, images and stories.

  • Bradford was our uncle. He was killed in 1944 in or around New Guinea. He was point man on patrol the day he was killed taking Japanese machine gun fire. Although many of the cousins of our family never knew him as we were all born after he was killed, Bradford's younger sisters (he was the only son), our mothers, have made sure his memory and sacrifice were never forgotten.

  • Your uncle Bradford I am the daughter of Betty June. I sent your flag to Aunt Jeanne she's the only one of the family left. Mama passed in 2010 in February and Dad passed in December of 14. Was she had all kinds of stories of you. It was almost like I knew you. And I wanted to tell you that I love you
