Honor your hero with thoughts, memories, images and stories.
My dearest Michael-There are no words to explain the hero you will always be to me and our two beautiful daughters. You have always been my soft place to land, my shelter in a storm and now that part of my life is missing. Never have I known someone so selfless, generous, honorable, loving and full of life. I know it wasn't your time to go. You had so much you wanted to do, but I know with all my heart you are in a much better place watching over us and guiding us everyday. I will always fight for your honor because of the love you gave to me. Thank you for giving me 21 years of living a fairy tale life. I am so blessed to have been loved by you. I miss you every moment of every day and I will go to my grave with only half my heart until we meet again in heaven. I will love you for ever.
With all my heart,
kim
What did you love most about your spouse?
His spirit. He was always happy and eager to try anything. Always there to pump me up and pick me up when I was down. He supported me in everything I did. Most of all he loved ME.
Thanks Mike for your service to our county and for your friendship. I've looked up to you my whole life. You gave so much to our country, our family and to the military. We are so proud of you. Someday the world will know about your ultimate sacrifice.
Colonel Stahlman exemplified the true meaning of integrity, honor, and courage. He was our son's commanding officer on Parris Island and stood by our family and our son through a very difficult time. He will always be a hero to us. My his legacy continue through his daughters.
