October 7, 1944 he was sent to the European Theatre of operations. "KIA February 11, 1945. Neil W. Boylan Flight Officer US Army Air Forces WWII was entered into Zachary Taylor National Cemetery, 4701 Brownsboro Road Louisville, KY 402067-Section E. Site 131-132. Date of interment is listed as August 24, 1949 in Section E. Decedent is one of a group buried in a common grave with Sgt. Otha W Hester and 2nd Lt Hugh L. Yeager. We are glad to know that Flight Officer Boylan has been laid to rest on American Soil
