May 11, 2017 Terry was taken from us in 1968, he was 24 years old and in the prime of his life. Terry attended Brainerd Jr. College and the St. Cloud State College and planned to go to the "U" of MN School of Dentistry. His plans were put on hold when he was notified that he was going to be called on to serve his country. Vietnam was still a war zone when Terry finished boot camp and training; and I can remember that our family was thankful when Terry informed us he was being sent to Korea not to Vietnam. Terry was given leave to come home for Christmas 1967. I still have the Christmas Tree ornament that he made for our tree. Every year It is hung on our tree with love, respect, pride, sadness; but there are more great happy memories than sad. To be continued. . .
Memorial Day, May 29, 2017 Today we remember our bother Terry for his ultimate sacrifice. KIA August 5, 1968 in Korea, while patrolling the DMZ.
