Honor your hero with thoughts, memories, images and stories.
I never dreamed in a million years that as I was holding you after you were born that I would be writing this tribute to you. I promise you son....I will tell the world your story. As long as there is breathe in my body, your sacrifice will never be forgotten. I have created a tribute to you: http://for-ryan-from-mom.webs.com. Also, a Vietnam Vet Ranger will be taking your portrait and KIA bracelet to the Ranger Memorial at Pointe du Hoc in France for the 67th Anniversary of D-Day. He will place it where it will remain indefinitely. I love you, Ryan. I'm so proud of you. If love could have saved you..you would have lived forever. RANGERS LEAD THE WAY! TSAF!
Lcpl Sean Dougan was taken far too soon. We lost him when he was a young 20. His charming personality, smile that would light up a room, kind and caring nature, and sarcastic sense of humor are just few of the many amazing qualities he possessed. Sean was in the 2nd Support Battalion, Marines Special Operations Command. He touched ao many lives in his short time here. Not one minute of one day goes by that my heart doesn’t hurt. I used to call him my main man and my pocket full of sunshine. What i wouldn’t give to see him just one more time and get just one more hug, one more “I love you, Mom”. Sean you are my hero until eternity. Guard those Gates of Heaven with your fallen comrades. I am sure you are making everyone laugh up there. Until Valhalla buddy...Semper Fi ~
