I miss you more than words could ever say. This all has been much harder than we all thought it would be. Everyone said that "it gets easier." I do not think that, that is true, I believe that we just all learned how to hide it better. You were the greatest man that I've ever known and most likely will EVER know. I pray you are in heaven with our lord & your grandfather and smiling down on all of us while in a beautiful bliss of peace & harmony. No more deployments, wars or waking up at 4:30 am. I know you miss all of us too, down here and I can only imagine the concern you have for your brothers & mother. You were always so good to them, you were always so good to all of us. You were our hero & our protector. I believe that you still are watching over us & I feel you with me through out my days... I am so thankful for that. I am glad to have had you in my life, even if it was cut short! I cant wait until the day that I see your face & get to hear that laugh again!! I LOVE YOU!! I MISS YOU!! --Amanda, your "crazy wife"
