  • Clint had life long dreams of becoming a soldier and when 9/11 happened he found the need to follow that dream. He was working as a Sheriff's Deputy in Kansas and attached to DEA, but that was not enough for him to feel like he contributed to our fallen on that day. He left Kansas and joined the Army after completing his Associate's Degree in Criminal Justice. He went to basic at Fort Leonard Wood in MO, then went straight to Airborne training at Fort Benning. It was a challenge for him to go in at almost 30 years old but he was ready to give it everything he had. He love the Band of Brother's series and ended up in the 101st Airborne that is featured in that series. He worked as an MP until given the chance to change orders with another soldier going to Iraq. He wanted to go and jumped at the opportunity. He had a strong belief he could make a difference. I believe he did, for myself and those who he served with he will always be an inspiration of what a hero is.
