Four brothers, William D, Richard S, John N, Donald B. two sisters Helen Cross and Elaine Clark. All five brothers served in the military. One brother served in the Pacific while in the Navy and two served in the Army Combat Engineer's and had been under attack while stationed at Pearl Harbor both surviving the attack. His fourth brother Second Lieutenant William Daniel Disney was a member of the Army Air Corps. While on a flight across the Atlantic his B-24 Liberator bomber, his plane was reported as missing in 1944. Several months later a caribou hunter spotted some wreckage high in Labrador's Mealy Mountains. When it was possible to reach the site, dog tags found in the wreckage confirmed his identity. I am writing this as a tribute to my father, that I never got to meet. I was born December 5th 1943.
